About

Hi! I’m Cady.

Ten years into my legal practice, I decided I wanted to do things different. I wanted to create a firm focused on problem solving and dispute resolution. A firm where clients and lawyers’ mental health and wellness come first. A place where young lawyers can be coached in the creation of balanced and fulfilled lives. I believe in learning and growing every day. I am constantly trying to evolve the practice of law from one of competition to one of respect for one another and our clients. I believe that our role as lawyers is first and foremost, to counsel.

I am a former Chair of the Florida Probate Rules Committee, a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and a Vice-Chair of the Probate and Trust Litigation Committee. I regularly write and speak on matters related to estate and trust administration and litigation, as well as collaboration, mediation, and better business practices. I am an Adjunct Professor at Stetson College of Law and a member of the Pinellas Fellowship of Women Lawyers. I am a graduate of CoachU and seeking my International Coaching Federation accreditation for career coaching.

In my free time, I am a mental health advocate, a writer (see my blog), a laugher, a leader, a travel enthusiast, a lover of animals, a baker of cookies (especially with sprinkles), an athlete, a reader, and forever a student of life. I call St. Petersburg, Florida home and love catching a sunrise or sunset at the beach.
