Q3 Workcation: Montreal

I spent my third workcation of the year in Montreal! The people, the food, and the city itself were all amazing. As usual, I spent the mornings working from an AirBnb and then the afternoons exploring. I went hiking up Mont Royal, biking around the various neighborhoods, and even did a food tour with some locals. I cannot encourage solo travel enough. It is such a wonderful opportunity to live life on your terms, to be selfish without guilt, and to really learn what you love. On this trip, I walked everywhere and came home with a renewed sense of adventure in my hometown. I am truly grateful to be able to work and adventure on a regular basis in this business and hope that you are living a life aligned with your values. I would love to coach you on the journey.

The Botanical Gardens were some of my favorite in the city. I spent the entire afternoon wandering through rose gardens, greenhouses, and even Japanese and Chinese gardens. It was lovely.

I did a guided hike up Mont Royal and caught amazing views of the city. The weather was superb and I truly enjoyed the conversation with my guide who was born and raised in Montreal. He even recommended a good spot for a smoked meat sandwich, a Montreal delicacy. His tour is here if you’re headed that way and want to hike.

One of my favorite things about Montreal was the many gorgeous churches. This is Notre Dame and is absolutely stunning.
